Gardening for butterflies with Thelma Beaubien

April 10, 2017 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Thelma Beaubien will be presenting how her gardens have evolved over the years into a butterfly haven. In fact, Beau’s Butterfly Garden became the inspiration for her new book.  Now with 26 different butterfly species recorded in her garden she will share with you the story her garden tells through the lens of her camera including a few of the species she rescues and raises.  She will be sharing with us how she determined a butterfly’s flight direction to her garden, and what determines the flowers they prefer for nectaring.   You too will soon be photographing in a garden through the eyes of a butterfly!
